Dramafun Players-Descendants the Musical! (Limited space available)
GRADES 5 & up
Wednesdays 5:30-7:30
1/8-5/10 No classes during February and April vacations.
We are looking for enthusiastic and talented young singer/actor/dancers who are in grades 5 and up to take part in this Musical Theatre Production class. Students will learn the process of auditioning, rehearsing, and performing a full scale production of Descendants the Musical. Students will learn music, choreography, blocking and enjoy fun theater games to build a strong team. This is a multi-age production with plenty of opportunities for students of all abilities. Our students vary in age and experience but all share a passion for the performing arts. All registered students will receive a role! Space is limited to ensure individual attention. This 90 minute production will have a 17 week rehearsal period.
Placement auditions will be held Saturday, January 4 from 1-4pm
Callbacks will be held on Sunday, January 5 from 1-4pm
Additional Saturday rehearsal is Saturday May 3 at the studio from 12:30-4:30pm
Mandatory tech/dress rehearsals at Barnstable High School are:
Tuesday - Friday, May 6-9 5:30-7:30pm
Performances are May 10 at 2pm & 7pm
Please check your family schedule before enrolling.
TOTAL FEE of $550 includes $100 non-refundable deposit, materials and professional instruction for the 17 week rehearsal period.
Tickets to the performance are $15 per person. Show shirts are $15.
Dramafun Jr. Players- Descendants the Musical! (Full-Wait List only)
GRADES 1-5 Ensemble roles

The Jr. Players is a performance troupe consisting of enthusiastic, dedicated young performers in grades 1-5 who are passionate about the performing arts. Students will learn the process of auditioning, rehearsing, and performing a full scale production of Descendants the Musical!
Jr. Players are not required to audition and will be placed in ensemble roles. Audition information is listed below for information purposes only. If a Jr. Player would like to audition for the experience they are welcome to do so. If they are cast in a lead role they would need to move to the later 5:30pm class.

ACT OUT! Grades 5-7
Thursdays 6:30-7:30pm
January 9-March 20 (10 week session)
No class on February 20.
Prior acting experience is not required in this theatre foundation class, only the desire to have a blast! You will learn how to build characters, develop stories, and create scenes, using your imagination in our acting exercises and improvisation. This class is a great way to develop self-confidence and team work. Final class will present a sketch or short play (to be decided) showcasing what we’ve learned from the class.
FEE: $225
PRIVATE LESSONSONS IN VOICE AND ACTING (Booking online and In Person. Look at our calendar for availability) Courtenay holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in both Vocal Music Performance and Theatre Arts from Hartwick College. She has had the joy of singing a variety of different genres and styles professionally all over the United States, Canada, and Europe and was a musical theatre performer for many years before moving to Cape Cod to raise her family. Now an educator of music, movement, and drama she enjoys working with all ages to inspire them to reach their personal best. Her emphasis is on singing without tension and finding authentic, honest expression through lyric interpretation. Some of Courtenay's students have gone on to pursue professional music careers but all have discovered the joy and power of their own voice! Lessons are $33/half hour and $65/hour billed per semester. Payment for voice lessons may be made in cash, check, or Venmo.
