This class is full of creative movement, imagination journeys, story enactment, theatre games and more! We will create a play adaptation from children's literature and explore all aspects of producing a short skit to share with family and friends on Saturday, March 18 at 11am at The Sandwich Town Hall.

ACT OUT! with Karen Santos
Grades 4-6
Thursdays 5:30-7PM
January 5-March 15 (10 week session)
No class on February 23rd.
Have fun with theatre games, improvisation, character development and scene building! Bring stories to life using your imagination, basic acting techniques, theatre language, and stage directions. The class focus is on participation and team work, and the students will create a short, final performance piece showcasing what they have learned on Saturday, March 18 at 11am at The Sandwich Town Hall.
No prior acting experience is required, just the desire to have a blast!

TEEN IMPROV with Karen Santos

MUSICAL THEATRE PROGRAM
DRAMAFUN PLAYERS with Courtenay Harrington-Bailey & Jennifer Almeida
GRADES 5 & up Saturdays 1-4pm
January 7-April 2

We are looking for enthusiastic and talented young singer/actor/dancers to take part in this exciting, new musical review-"Raise Your Voice." Students will learn the process of auditioning, rehearsing, and performing a full scale Broadway Jr. production of Raise Your Voice.
A portion of ticket sales will benefit The Boys and Girls Club of Mashpee.
Students will learn music, choreography, blocking from shows such as High School Musical, Aladdin, The Little Mermaid, Legally Blond and more! This is a multi-age production with plenty of opportunities for students of all abilities. Our students vary in age and experience but all share a passion for the performing arts. We will follow all COVID health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe experience for all. All registered students will receive a role! Space is limited.
Placement auditions will be held Saturday, January 7 from 1-4pm
Mandatory tech week rehearsals are the week of March 27th from 6-8pm
Performances are the weekend of April 1 & 2, 2023
FEE $415 includes materials and professional instruction.
Tickets to the performance are $15 per person.
DRAMAFUN JUNIOR PLAYERS with Courtenay Harrington-Bailey

The Jr. Players is a performance troupe consisting of enthusiastic, dedicated young performers in grades 2-5 who are passionate about the performing arts. Students will learn the process of auditioning, rehearsing, and performing a full scale Broadway Jr. production of Raise Your Voice-A Musical Review. Students will learn music and choreography to songs from such shows as James and The Giant Peach, High School Musical, Once On This Island, and more!
A portion of ticket sales will benefit The Boys and Girls Club of Mashpee.
Our Wednesday Jr. Player group will be assigned ensemble roles (no audition or prior experience is necessary.)

Private Lessons in Voice and Acting (Booking online and In Person. Wait List Only) Courtenay holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in both Vocal Music Performance and Theatre Arts from Hartwick College. She has had the joy of singing a variety of different genres and styles professionally all over the United States, Canada, and Europe and was a musical theatre performer for many years before moving to Cape Cod to raise her family. Now an educator of music, movement, and drama she enjoys working with all ages to inspire them to reach their personal best. Her emphasis is on singing without tension and finding authentic, honest expression through lyric interpretation. Some of Courtenay's students have gone on to pursue professional music careers but all have discovered the joy and power of their own voice!
Lessons are billed every semester (9-10 weeks) at a rate that breaks down to $30/half hour and $60/hour. Payment for voice lessons may be made in cash, check, or Venmo. Please contact Courtenay at courthbailey@gmail.com to arrange a mutually agreeable lesson time.
Those who do not want to commit to a full semester can pay the drop in rate (based on availability) which is $35/half hour or $70/hour.
