MUSICAL THEATRE PROGRAM

We are looking for enthusiastic and talented young singer/actor/dancers to take part in a full scale production of Annie Jr. Students will learn music, choreography, lines, blocking and enjoy fun theater games to build a strong team. This is a multi-age production with plenty of opportunities for students of all abilities. Our students vary in age and experience but all share a passion for the performing arts. We require placement auditions but all registered students will receive a role and have a moment to shine.
Placement auditions & callbacks will be held Saturday, January 6 and Sunday, January 7
from 1-4pm at our studio
Mandatory tech week rehearsals are the week of April 2 from 5:30-7:30pm
Performances are the weekend of April 6 & 7, 2024

FEE $400 includes materials and professional instruction.
Tickets to the performance are $15 per person.
DRAMAFUN JUNIOR PLAYERS (Wednesdays) LIMITED AVAILABILITY

The Jr. Players is a performance troupe consisting of enthusiastic, dedicated young performers in grades 2-5 who are passionate about the performing arts. Students will learn the process of auditioning, rehearsing, and performing a full scale Broadway Jr. production of Annie Jr.
Our Wednesday Jr. Player group will be in the orphan ensemble (no audition or prior experience is necessary.) Those wishing to audition for lead orphans will need to audition with the Saturday class and attend Saturday rehearsals instead of Wednesdays. See information on the Saturday class for details.

CREATIVE DRAMA PROGRAM
CREATIVE DRAMA & DANCE (K-3rd grade)

This class is full of creative movement, imagination journeys, story enactment, theatre games and more! We will create a play adaptation from children's literature and explore all aspects of producing a short skit to share with family and friends on Saturday, March 16 at 11am at The Sandwich Town Hall.

Have fun with theatre games, improvisation, character development and scene building! Bring stories to life using your imagination, basic acting techniques, theatre language, and stage directions. The class focus is on participation and team work, and the students will create a short, final performance piece showcasing what they have learned.
No prior acting experience is required, just the desire to have a blast!

Jump into the magical world of theatre and make-believe with this fun introductory class perfect for the little ones! Creative movement, theatre games, music, imagination journeys and more!
FEE $175
Private Lessons in Voice and Acting (Booking online and In Person. ) Courtenay holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in both Vocal Music Performance and Theatre Arts from Hartwick College. She has had the joy of singing a variety of different genres and styles professionally all over the United States, Canada, and Europe and was a musical theatre performer for many years before moving to Cape Cod to raise her family. Now an educator of music, movement, and drama she enjoys working with all ages to inspire them to reach their personal best. Her emphasis is on singing without tension and finding authentic, honest expression through lyric interpretation. Some of Courtenay's students have gone on to pursue professional music careers but all have discovered the joy and power of their own voice!
Lessons are billed every semester (9-10 weeks) at a rate that breaks down to $30/half hour and $60/hour. Payment for voice lessons may be made in cash, check, or Venmo. Please contact Courtenay at courthbailey@gmail.com to arrange a mutually agreeable lesson time.
Those who do not want to commit to a full semester can pay the drop in rate (based on availability) which is $35/half hour or $70/hour.
