Calling all enthusiastic and talented young singers, actors, and dancers in grades 5 and up!
Join us for an exciting Musical Theatre Production Class where students will bring Freaky Friday the Musical to life on stage.
Throughout the session, students will:
🎶 Learn the process of auditioning, rehearsing, and performing
💃 Build skills in singing, acting, choreography, and blocking
🎭 Play fun theatre games that foster teamwork and confidence
This is a multi-age production designed for performers of all abilities.
Every registered student receives a role, and class size is limited to ensure individual attention.

Designed for young performers in Grades 2–4. Jr. Players participate in ensemble roles, learning the fundamentals of musical theatre in a supportive environment. Auditions are not required, but students may audition for the experience.

Creative movement, imagination journeys, story enactment, theatre games and more! We will create a play adaptation from children's literature and explore all aspects of producing a short skit to share with family and friends.

About Courtenay:
Courtenay is a transplant from New York City, where she worked for many years as a professional actress. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Vocal Music Performance and Theatre Arts, and her extensive career includes performing in regional theatre, summer stock, and touring productions across the U.S., Canada, and Europe.
A proud member of the Actor’s Equity Association for over 30 years, Courtenay brings real-world performance experience to every class she teaches.
In 2012, she co-wrote and starred in the original play Death—It Happens, which won the Audience Choice Award at the NYC Frigid Festival.
Since moving to Cape Cod in 2005, Courtenay has been passionate about arts education. She has:
Many of her former students have gone on to pursue professional careers in the performing arts or are currently studying at university-level music and theatre programs.
In all her work, Courtenay is committed to inspiring students to discover the joy, power, and personal expression found in the performing arts.
