We are looking for enthusiastic and talented young singer/actor/dancers who are in grades 5 and up to take part in this Musical Theatre Production class. Students will learn the process of auditioning, rehearsing, and performing a full scale production of Mary Poppins Jr. Students will learn music, choreography, blocking and enjoy fun theater games to build a strong team. This is a multi-age production with plenty of opportunities for students of all abilities. Our students vary in age and experience but all share a passion for the performing arts. All registered students will receive a role! Space is limited to ensure individual attention. This 70 minute production will have a 18 week rehearsal period.
Placement auditions will be held Sunday, September 7, from 1-4pm
Callbacks will be held on Wednesday, September 10 from 5:30-7:30pm
Additional Saturday rehearsals from 1-4pm are
September 27, October 25 1-4pm, November 15, and January 10th
Mandatory tech/dress rehearsals at Barnstable High School are:
Tuesday - Friday, January 27-30 5:30-7:30pm
Performances are Saturday, January 31 at 2pm & 7pm and Sunday, February 1 @ 2pm

TOTAL FEE of $600 includes $100 non-refundable deposit, materials and professional instruction for the 18 week rehearsal period.
Tickets to the performance are $18 per person. Show shirts are $15.

The Jr. Players is a performance troupe consisting of enthusiastic, dedicated young performers in grades 1-4 who are passionate about the performing arts. Students will learn the process of auditioning, rehearsing, and performing a full scale production of Mary Poppins Jr.
Jr. Players are not required to audition and will be placed in ensemble roles. Audition information is listed below for information purposes only. If a Jr. Player would like to audition for the experience they are welcome to do so. If they are cast in a lead role they would need to move to the later 5:30pm class.

Music is more fun with friends! Looking for a fun music class for your homeschooled student? This class will be catered to the enrolled students based on where they are musically! Group singing, solo singing, movement, instrument exploration, music theory and more! There will be an opportunity to join our Fall recital on November 22 at 2pm at The Sandwich Town Hall.

Prior acting experience is not required in this theatre foundation class, only the desire to have a blast! You will learn how to build characters, develop stories, and create scenes, using your imagination in our acting exercises and improvisation. The second half of the semester will be spent rehearsing a short one-act play to share with family and friends in our Fall recital on November 22 at 2pm at The Sandwich Town Hall.

This group voice class is for beginners just starting out wanting to boost their confidence by singing in a small group, or students wanting practice with singing solos in a small group setting. Students will have the opportunity to sing a few class selections in our Fall recital on November 22 at 2pm at The Sandwich Town Hall.

This class is full of creative movement, imagination journeys, story enactment, theatre games and more! We will create a play adaptation from children's literature and explore all aspects of producing a short skit to share with family and friends on Saturday, November 22 at 2pm at The Sandwich Town Hall.
FEE $250
PRIVATE LESSONSONS IN VOICE AND ACTING (Booking online and In Person. Look at our calendar for availability) Courtenay holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in both Vocal Music Performance and Theatre Arts from Hartwick College. She has had the joy of singing a variety of different genres and styles professionally all over the United States, Canada, and Europe and was a musical theatre performer for many years before moving to Cape Cod to raise her family. Now an educator of music, movement, and drama she enjoys working with all ages to inspire them to reach their personal best. Her emphasis is on singing without tension and finding authentic, honest expression through lyric interpretation. Some of Courtenay's students have gone on to pursue professional music careers but all have discovered the joy and power of their own voice! Lessons are $33/half hour and $65/hour billed per semester. Payment for voice lessons may be made in cash, check, or Venmo.
